When I moved into my new space at Ford St. studios the
amount of useable area kind of overwhelmed me and I got it into my head that I should do something BIG! So here it is, my
"Wall Painting". An apt title for a piece that measures around 22 feet long by 7 1/2 feet high. It is made up of 24 different
canvases of different shapes and sizes.
If
you are wondering what I am planning to do with this massive creation, well, I don't know. The plan is to paint it and hopefully
figure out what to do with it by the time I am done.
I have pondered breaking it up into single canvases just to see if the individual pieces would work on their own, and I
feel most of them would, but as I paint more and more of it, it is looking like it will be difficult to separate.
I will try and put the photos in chronological order with the newer
ones on top. Hope you enjoy the development. I will try to update it whenever I have covered significant ground, so be sure
to check back every week or so.
